Özel Antalya Koleji Okulları Konyaaltı Kampüsü ortaokul 5. sınıf öğrencileri, Cambridge Matematik dersi kapsamında hem eğlenceli hem öğretici bir “Dragon Math Chase” etkinliğinde buluştu.
Etkinlikte öğrenciler, gruplar halinde oluşturdukları “ejderha kuyrukları”yla sınıfta hareketli bir yarışa katıldı. Start işaretiyle birlikte her grup, önlerindeki lideri yakalamak için takım halinde stratejik bir şekilde ilerledi. “Kuyruğu kaptım!” sesleriyle sınıfta coşku dolu anlar yaşanırken; öğrenciler hem hızlarını hem de takım koordinasyonlarını sergiledi.
Etkinliğin ikinci bölümünde ise öğrenciler, renkli zarflar içinde yer alan matematik bulmacalarını çözmek için birlikte çalıştı. Akıl yürütme, dikkat ve iş birliği gerektiren bu bölümde takımlar, problem çözme becerilerini yaratıcılıkla birleştirdi.
“Dragon Math Chase” etkinliği sayesinde öğrenciler, matematiksel düşünme becerilerini pekiştirirken; aynı zamanda takım ruhu, liderlik ve stratejik düşünme yetilerini de geliştirdi.

A Colorful Adventure in the Cambridge Math Lesson: “Dragon Math Chase”
The 5th-grade students of Antalya College Konyaaltı Campus Middle School came together for a fun and educational “Dragon Math Chase” activity as part of their Cambridge Math lesson.
In the first part of the event, students formed groups to create their own “dragon tails” and took part in a lively classroom race. With the start signal, each group moved strategically as a team to catch the leader in front of them. The classroom was filled with excitement as students shouted, “I got the tail!”, showcasing their speed and team coordination.
In the second part, students worked together to solve math puzzles hidden in colorful envelopes. This stage required reasoning, attention, and teamwork, allowing groups to combine problem-solving with creativity.
Through the “Dragon Math Chase” activity, students reinforced their mathematical thinking skills while also developing teamwork, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
